Fallout 3 and the love thereof

I got Fallout 3 recently. I decided to wait until it was no longer a matter of affording the game or affording food and/or gas for a week. I think I chose wisely. (Ends up Target had a sale, making it $39.99 instead of $59.99 or some foolishness.)

I very much enjoy it. (Almost said "I'm loving it", but that would make odd McDonald's advertisements appear. Can't have that.)

The graphics are suitably pretty. I mean, everything is brown and ugly, but there's a sense of cartoony realism. I've shot the crap out of many, many things, and had the crap shot, beaten and stabbed out of my character. Many, many, many times. It's fun!

I'm still very much in the early stages of the game, only level 5 and have just now reached the first major destination, but I 'spect that the rest of the game will be as much fun.

Anyway, that's my minor, ill-thought-out demi-review of Fallout 3.

*FUN FACT: Fallout 3 requires less hard drive space than Saints Row on the XBox 360.*
